In Spring of 2020 the band shared an experience of a lifetime. The pandemic had the majority of the music industry shut down, so the last thing we thought would happen was a trip to Hollywood- with 6 days notice! Our manager David called and informed us that a band on Sumerian Records’ NO COVER could not make it into the country due to a failed Covid test at an airport. Needless to say- we were beyond hyped to jump at the opportunity. When we got to L.A. two days later (and one transmission of a rental minivan later- I like to go fast, ok…) the surreal atmosphere had began to set in. We warmed up on the beach getting ready for an epic week of Rock and Roll.
After meeting with a slew of extremely talented and humble artists we were soon to share the stage with from across the country, our time had come to jump into the legendary Troubadour on the Sunset Strip- a venue I had long idolized since discovering bands like Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe. Kellin Quinn MC’d the kickoff as we perfomed ‘My Fight’ live for the first time in front of a panel of judges which included Alice Cooper, Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Tosin Abasi and Bishop Briggs. We continued to meet with the king of Shock Rock Alice as the day progressed in moments that are forever engrained in our memories including encouraging words of perseverance and determination- and even some back and forth cheeky comments from the powerhouse goddess frontwoman of Halestorm.
The entire experience that week felt like it went by as quickly as we found out about it, leaving us thirsting for the release of our newly recorded music we just laid down with our brothers AJ and Richie from Fire From The Gods. The hype and anticipation has been unreal as we prepare to drop the debut single/music video ‘NEVER COMIN DOWN’ in March. ‘My Fight’ was a part of those recording sessions as well, and will follow in subsequent releases after NCD airs.
LONG LIVE ROCK N ROLL BABY
